My Pen Name
I once read that you need an easy to remember author’s name. My first name “Edana” is not only difficult to remember, it’s difficult to spell and almost impossible to pronounce correctly without instructions (say E-donna). It often gets confused with Edna which causes me to cringe—not that there’s anything wrong with Edna, it’s just NOT my name.
So when kicking around a name to use on my first published novel, I came up with EB Corbin. The E for my first name and the B for my husband Bob, who's given me tremendous input from page one. I specifically left off the periods after the initials so as not to be confused with E.B. White — I neither write for The New Yorker nor about spiders. And I most definitely do not pretend to be an expert on the Elements of Style.
Anyway, that’s the tale of how EB Corbin came to be. I hope you get a chance to read the first book of the Roxanne Boudreaux trilogy, Too Many Secrets, which is currently available on Amazon both for Kindle and in paperback. The second book of the trilogy, Too Many Lies, is scheduled to be released in December 2017.
